And so it begins
Yesterday was the official introduction. We, 17 of us I think, met up at 19.00 (7 p.m) in the “briefing room” for our first introduction to Aeroklubben (from now on known as AKG in this blog). It started out really nice with a traditional swedish “fika”. Everybody seemed to be in good spirit and, from what it looks like, we’ll all get a long just fine! Hasse (chairman) and Kalle (teacher) presented what the theory course is made up off, its content, tests and everything. Looks like I wont be having trouble to find good reading for some time.
They also gave us short description of some practical things like the intranet and other procedures as well as presenting the organization itself and how it’s managed, all the basics…basically. As I said, the litterature is quite heavy, but it’s something I want to read nevertheless. The rest of the group eventually went out to take a look at the aircraft and hangar. I skipped it as I was in a hurry to get in to town for a beer (one has to prioritize), and that I’ve already spent some time with friends at AKG before.
I took some pictures with my cell phone but they’re just to dark and blurred to show anything of interest. I’ll put up a group picture that Peter (mofly responsible) took when, and if, I get permission to use it.
The first lesson is this Sunday at 09.00. I look forward to it!

Happy flying! Förbered dig dock på att det blir mer inställda än genomförbara lektioner närmaste månaderna.

jag är plågsamt medveten om det.
